DAM Connector for WordPress from Picturepark

Adaptive Metadata™ content control now available from within the world’s most popular website content management system

Aarau, Switzerland – 22 Nov 2016 – Digital asset management software maker Picturepark® announced today DAM Connector for WordPress. The new connector, built on Picturepark’s content connector framework, links Picturepark DAM to the WordPress® WCMS, enabling website creators to find and place content stored in Picturepark.

By connecting WordPress to an enterprise-wide Picturepark content store, WordPress editors have direct access to everything they need, without having to download from one system and then upload into WordPress.

A single metadata tag added to a piece of content in Picturepark provides all the metadata fields required to use that content from within WordPress. Picturepark Adaptive Metadata™ layers prevent WordPress metadata fields from appearing on content not intended or approved for website use.

Website editors have the option to link to Picturepark content directly from WordPress posts or pages, or they can copy content into the WordPress media library. In either case, when the content is updated in Picturepark, WordPress can be updated automatically.

Access statistics for Picturepark-direct content links are available inside Picturepark. When using Picturepark with additional business systems, such as a product information manager (PIM) or enterprise resource planner (ERP), Picturepark becomes a central hub that provides global content access and usage statistics for all channels.
