Picturepark at Woodwing Next Wave Tour
Aarau, Switzerland – 26 April 2012 – Digital asset management (DAM) software maker Picturepark® will sponsor and present at WoodWing Next Wave Tour events taking place in New York and Los Angeles in May. Admission to both events is free of charge.
Educational sessions featuring Picturepark CEO, Ramon Forster, are scheduled at each event. During his presentations, Forster will demonstrate to WoodWing users the value and benefits of adding Picturepark cloud or on-premise digital asset management (DAM) software to their multi-channel publishing workflows.
“Digital asset management is a natural extension to WoodWing publishing workflows,” Forster explained. “Picturepark improves upon this already wonderful synergy by enabling layout artists to be more creative and productive because they don’t waste time finding files and gathering approvals.
Making Picturepark even more valuable to WoodWing users, the recently announced Dropbox Connector for Picturepark enhances Picturepark with Dropbox file syndication services. Digital publishers that use Dropbox for Teams can now ensure updated versions of files are automatically pushed to the Android, iOS and other mobile devices of their users, without delay or manual intervention.
Also attending the Los Angeles event will be Jon Hornstein, CEO for Picturepark partner Modula4. Hornstein’s company developed “DAM Connect for WoodWing,” the software component that enables WoodWing users to access Picturepark digital asset collections directly from within WoodWing Content Station or Adobe InDesign.

About Picturepark
Picturepark digital asset management software enables organizations to centrally store, manage and share digital assets on a modern service-oriented architecture (SOA) that is scalable, based on open standards, and available in the Cloud (SaaS), on-premise or in hybrids. Picturepark is suitable for enterprise-wide DAM deployment thanks, in part, to load-balancing, failover, service-based computer clustering, and support for true multi-tenant deployment. Adaptive Metadata technology enables each class of asset to have its own metadata schema that can evolve over time. Support for multiple taxonomies and controlled vocabularies is standard. The Picturepark Web Services API enables developers to integrate Picturepark with other systems. Embedded and branded Web portals based on HTML5/CSS can be built using the graphical Picturepark Ports tool.
