Migration Packages

This is ideal for the Picturepark DAM Starter and select Picturepark DAM Premium plans, on a basic configuration where we will propose to you the final best practice configuration, with strictly limited ability for you to request custom configurations. It’s suited to those with lower complexity requirements.

Your amount of involvement is dependent on your current Picturepark data model. If you are still using a folder and not yet a faceted tagging approach, your involvement in executing the migration will be higher.

• Highly standardized migration using our generic migration checklist and templates, which will be clarified in a kick-off meeting.
• One prototype that we will present to you based on our kick-off. During this meeting, we will show you how to manage content and metadata using select data from your existing system.
• Data migration or data cleanup executed by you based on our best practice advice during a maximum period of one week.
  
• One training session on new Picturepark capabilities, after which further help can be provided via regular support.
• Go live immediately after the training session.

Free migrations are executed within six weeks, with all work executed online. Right after go-live, your former Picturepark DAM system will be completely inaccessible.

The best fit for those with existing Picturepark DAM subscription plans and who want to fully leverage the capabilities of the Content Platform. Those that have a complex setup, integrations and/or workflows in place.

For all existing Picturepark customers which already have a sophisticated configuration and/or integrations with other systems in place, and/or which require a tailored approach to the migration process. It is also ideal for those that want to improve upon their existing setup, in order to benefit from new capabilities of the Picturepark Content Platform such as: virtual content, semantic relationships, microsites, REST API and others.

• Partial custom migration, all based on our deep review of your business and data model, planned use with our generic migration checklists and templates.
• Multiple solution meetings for elaborating the new target data model, as well as briefing on migration roles and tasks.
• Integration and process consulting for migrating your existing third-party integrations or creating new ones based on the new Content Platform capabilities.
• Multiple reviews of prototypes are suggested based on solutions and review meetings.

Custom migrations are tailor-made with regard to project planning and physical presence of our staff which provides you with greater flexibility for planning and collaboration. However, Custom package migrations take no longer than three months in total with most meetings executed remotely.

Please note: Migrations that include third parties such as your integrators for microsite portals, data exchange with other business systems, or similar, require more dedicated project management on behalf of the customer and usually only fit the Custom package.
