A new version of Content Platform is released.
Version: Content Platform Einshorn (11.13) will be released on 27-November-2024.
Main changes: Flagging service integration, groundwork for tree view and reworked Batch Editor.
Einshorn offers a breathtaking glimpse of Switzerland’s natural beauty. Rising to an elevation of 2,945 meters, it is part of the Lepontine Alps in the canton of Graubünden. The mountain's rugged, sharp peak is a striking feature against the alpine landscape, providing a pristine environment for hikers and mountaineers alike. With its panoramic views of nearby valleys and snow-capped peaks, Einshorn is an ideal destination for those seeking adventure or serenity amidst nature. Its remote location ensures tranquility, making it a hidden gem for those exploring the lesser-known paths of the Swiss Alps.
Release details
These are the final release notes.
Flagging Service
The Flagging Service is an integration that dynamically sets and removes flags (checkboxes) based on an identifying tagbox and a set of rules per Content Item. For example, when showcasing a product on your website, you may have multiple images, file types, and resolutions to choose from. By setting up rules for preferred images, the Content Platform automatically flags the best Content Item for you, eliminating the need for manual selection.
The above Content Item was selected as the “best” image among others based on the following –highly configurable – rules:
If none of the Content Items match the first rule, the integration automatically moves down through your list of rules until it finds a match.
Coming soon
New Batch Editor
The Batch Editor will be reworked and adjusted to the Content Platform design in an upcoming release. It will make use of the spreadsheet view introduced in the Content Platform Pilatus release. It has been simplified and streamlined and is now even more user friendly.
Tree view
Many systems make use of a tree view where selecting a category like "Clothing" narrows down the options to "Men's" or "Womens”, and then further filters to "Shirts" or "Pants”. In response to customer requests, we’re introducing our own tree view in an upcoming release. This will provide users with better guided access to Content and improve List Item navigation.
