Desktop Connector

    

With Picturepark Desktop assets can be managed with a locally installed application. In order to be able to use the Desktop Connector the current version of Adobe Air needs to be installed (http://get.adobe.com/air/). The functions correspond to the functions in the Picturepark Browser.

 

Download and Installation

The desktop connector can be downloaded from the Desktop Clients window (administration menu). The desktop connector can be installed easily with the help of the .air file which is downloaded.

 

Login and Settings

The url of the Picturepark you would like to connect to needs to be entered on opening the Desktop Connector (http://client.picturepark.com). The login form with which you can log into the Desktop Connector is then loaded by clicking on go.

The desktop connector settings can be changed in the menu under edit - settings.

  1. Selection of the directory in which downloads should be saved by default.
  2. When this option is activated you can select an individual directory to save each download. Otherwise all files are automatically saved in the specified directory.
