Job Description

  • Develop best practice use cases for integrated use of Picturepark Content Platform together with Product Management, Business Development and Marketing
  • Promote latest Picturepark Content Platform capabilities along real-life and future use cases today via blog, forums, webinars, and similar
  • Present Picturepark Content Platform API/SDK capabilities in webinars and on conferences
  • Respond to developer queries and consult developers and partners with regard to integrations
  • Train developers in workshops onsite or online, and coach them with their projects
  • Prototype integrations from Picturepark Content Platform via API / SDK into 3rd party systems for content and metadata exchange and linking, and other system interactions
  • Proactively research and apply for authoring and presentation opportunities with developer platforms and conferences, events of technology partners etc.
  • Manage the Picturepark Content Platform Developer Program, establishing an open community for discussing issues, improvements and latest insights, helping each other and providing integration services to customers and partners
  • Help your colleagues from the integration team in building new connectors released as new products, and promote them
  • Contribute insights from your market research and developer discussions and help improve the Picturepark Content Platform API and SDK
  • Test new endpoints, extend unit-tests to complete the documentation & samples
  • Support our Engineering team in SQA for new releases

Skills and Requirements

  • Higher education in computer science or information technology preferred
  • At least three years of experience in Web and database-driven development and integration via API and SDK into various business systems using different technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, additional languages such as German a strong advantage
  • Community builder: An open and candid attitude, loves to work with people
  • Very good knowledge and multi-years experience in either .NET (preferred) or Java, and willingness to develop in .NET, TypeScript and Java
  • Very adaptive to new technologies and eager to understand
  • Very good understanding of business use cases, and how to solve them by use of technology with a business analyst mindset
  • Openness for other cultures, a friendly mindset and patience
  • Open to travel within Europe and international
